Tripsy alternative
A Tripsy alternative for crews with Android phones.
Tripsy is one of the best-looking trip planners on the iPhone, and it's excellent at organizing reservations. It's also Apple-only for now. If half your crew carries Android phones and everyone needs to work on the plan, WanderCrew launches on iOS and Android at the same time. Here's how the two compare.

- Choose Tripsy if everyone who plans uses Apple devices and your trip is mostly bookings: flights, hotels, and reservations that arrive by email.
- Choose WanderCrew if your crew mixes iPhone and Android, you plan day by day in a spreadsheet-style grid, and you want the trip on every phone with no signal.
- Android friends can view a Tripsy trip through a web link. Editing it takes an Apple device.

When Tripsy is the better fit
Tripsy was a finalist for iPhone App of the Year in Apple's 2024 App Store Awards, and it shows. Forward a confirmation email and your flight, hotel, or dinner reservation appears in the trip. It imports from TripIt and TripCase, and guests can add their own expenses. If everyone planning the trip is on Apple devices and most of the trip is bookings, Tripsy is hard to beat.
When WanderCrew is the better fit
Few crews are all iPhone. WanderCrew launches on iOS and Android on the same day, and an Android phone gets the same trip: the itinerary, the route map, the Today screen, the packing list, and editing, all saved on the phone so they work without signal.
It's also built for a different kind of trip. Where Tripsy centers on reservations, WanderCrew centers on the days: the drive, the stops along the way, the hikes, and where you sleep, laid out in a spreadsheet-style grid the planner can import from Excel or paste from Google Sheets.
Tripsy is a trademark of its respective owner. WanderCrew is an independent product of Fisherbird LLC and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Tripsy.
Quick answers
Questions about Tripsy and Android
- Is Tripsy available on Android?
- Not yet. Tripsy runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Its team says an Android version isn't off the table and keeps a waitlist for it. Android users can view a Tripsy trip in a web browser through a shared link.
- What's a good Tripsy alternative for Android?
- If your crew has both iPhones and Android phones and everyone needs to edit the plan, pick a planner with native apps on both. WanderCrew launches on iOS and Android at the same time, with a web planner for the host, and the whole trip works with no signal on either.
- Can my Android friends edit the trip in WanderCrew?
- Yes. Anyone the host invites can join from an iPhone or an Android phone with a free account. Editors can change the plan and viewers can follow along, tick the shared packing list, and keep a private list of their own.
- Does WanderCrew import reservation emails like Tripsy?
- No. Tripsy is much stronger at bookings. In WanderCrew you type flights and hotels into the transit and stay rows, or paste them in from a spreadsheet.
- Can I import my Tripsy trips into WanderCrew?
- There's no direct import. WanderCrew imports Excel files and cells pasted from Google Sheets, so you'd rebuild the days in the planner or bring them in from a spreadsheet.
One trip, whatever phone they carry.
